The cast of Wes Anderson’s new unnamed project is unexpectedly joined by Tom Hanks. The film will mark the first collaboration experience for both artists.

The cast also includes longtime co-stars of the director Bill Murray, Tilda Swinton, and Adrian Brody. Who exactly will play Hanks, not reported. The genre of the tape is also unknown. Filming is due to start in Spain this fall.

According to sources, the role of Hanks will more likely resemble a cameo than a full-fledged appearance. The supposed genre of the tape is Western.

In 2021, Hanks is slated to release the Finch sci-fi from Apple TV + streaming service. Recently, the actor starred in the western “News from all over the world” and won the first in 20 years, a nomination for the “Oscar” ( “A beautiful day in the neighborhood” ).
